Frequently asked questions
Answers, without the runaround.
Everything ExactSize does is designed around preparing photos locally and clearly.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. ExactSize processes supported photos on your iPhone or iPad. It does not use a photo-processing server or require an account.
Does ExactSize change my original photo?
No. ExactSize creates a prepared copy. The original file is not modified.
Can I remove location information?
Yes. ExactSize offers privacy handling for supported photos and validates the prepared output before it reports a selected removal as complete.
What formats can I use?
ExactSize supports JPEG, HEIC/HEIF, and PNG input. JPEG and HEIC are supported output formats; PNG output is included with ExactSize Pro.
How do I make a photo smaller than an upload limit?
Choose a file-size target, such as a preset or a custom maximum with ExactSize Pro, then review the prepared result before saving or sharing it.
How do I restore ExactSize Pro?
Open a Pro screen in the App and select Restore Purchases while signed in with the Apple Account used to buy the lifetime purchase.
Where do prepared photos go?
You decide. Save the prepared copy to Photos, save it to Files, or share it. Unsaved working files are held locally only for the current result session.
Why can’t I save to Photos?
Allow ExactSize to add photos in iOS or iPadOS Settings. The App requests this permission only when you choose Save to Photos.
How do I get help?
Use the support contact form and include your device, operating-system version, ExactSize version, and the message you saw. Do not send private images unless support asks for a safe example.
